Refund Policy

This page explains our refund policy for purchases made on Racquet Rivals. All payments are processed through Paddle, our payment processor and Merchant of Record.

1. Annual Subscriptions

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:

  • You will continue to have access to all subscription features until the end of your current billing period.
  • Your subscription will not automatically renew for the next billing period.
  • No partial refunds are provided for the unused portion of your current subscription period.

Refund requests for annual subscriptions will be considered under the following circumstances:

  • Request submitted within 7 days of initial purchase or renewal
  • Technical issues that prevent you from accessing subscription features for an extended period
  • Error in billing or duplicate charges

All subscription refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If approved, refunds will be processed through Paddle to your original payment method.

2. Individual Draw Purchases

For individual draw purchases, refunds may be requested under these conditions:

  • Your refund request is submitted prior to the draw's prediction deadline
  • You have not made predictions for the draw
  • The tournament is canceled or significantly rescheduled
  • Technical issues prevent you from submitting predictions before the draw's prediction deadline

Once predictions are closed or you have submitted predictions, individual draw purchases become non-refundable as the service has been provided.

3. Payment Processing and Refunds

All payments and refunds are processed by Paddle, our payment processor. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions on Racquet Rivals.

When a refund is approved:

  • The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase
  • Processing times vary by payment method, typically 5-7 business days

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please:

  1. Email us at will@racquetrivals.com with the subject line "Refund Request"
  2. Include your account email address and username
  3. Provide details of the purchase (date, amount, type of purchase)
  4. Explain your reason for requesting a refund
  5. Include any relevant order or transaction IDs from your purchase confirmation

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days.

5. Service Interruptions and Technical Issues

In the event of extended service interruptions or technical issues that significantly impact your ability to use Racquet Rivals features you've paid for, we may offer:

  • Partial or full refunds
  • Extended access period
  • Credit toward future purchases

Each situation will be evaluated individually to determine the appropriate remedy.

6. Prohibited Refund Practices

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in account termination:

  • Requesting refunds after fully utilizing the service
  • Making false claims to obtain refunds
  • Initiating chargebacks instead of requesting refunds directly
  • Repeatedly purchasing and requesting refunds

We reserve the right to deny refund requests that we determine, in our sole discretion, are made in bad faith or violate this policy.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this refund policy from time to time to reflect changes to our business practices or legal requirements. The updated policy will be effective immediately upon posting on this page, with the "Last Updated" date revised accordingly.
